March freighter schedule update

27 February 2021

Effective from 20 February, the Hong Kong SAR Government has implemented crew quarantine measures that require our Hong Kong-based pilots and cabin crew to undergo 14 days of hotel quarantine plus 7 days of medical surveillance when they return to Hong Kong after being on duty. Many of our crews are therefore now operating on a ‘closed loop’ basis for three weeks of duty, followed by this period of quarantine. As previously communicated, this constrains our capacity deployment.

Our freighter schedule for the first two weeks of March can be viewed via this link.

We are actively managing crew resources for the second half of March and our schedule for this period will be announced by 8 March.

The crew quarantine measures are effective until further notice. We are actively engaged with the Hong Kong SAR government on this and are hopeful that these measures are only necessary in the short term. We will inform customers as soon as there are updates to share.

Your patience and understanding are appreciated. Our local teams are working to provide options to customers whose cargo is affected. Please contact your local Cathay Pacific Cargo sales office for assistance.
