Hong Kong Export Cargo Fuel Surcharge
According to the announcement of Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD), from 1st January 2025, individual airlines may, based on their commercial considerations, set CFS at a level based on their own circumstance or choose not to levy such surcharge. Cathay Cargo’s Cargo fuel surcharge (CFS) will be liberalised which will come into effect for shipments departing Hong Kong from 00:00 hours on 1 January 2025, Hong Kong time.
