We had to ship a 18,600 kg gas turbine that was not only very heavy but also odd-sized. Cathay Cargo’s sales team worked closely with us to arrange a three-hour in-person examination, after which they understood this complex cargo and swiftly came back with a detailed shipping solution. Packing took four hours at a location measuring almost 50°C — and they performed a marvellous job securing our cargo at precisely-measured angles. From beginning to end, they demonstrated great professionalism, passion and meticulosity to detail.
