Transporting valuable shipments around the world requires uncompromising protection, security and integrity. Cathay Secure offers an end-to-end, customisable solution for valuable and vulnerable shipments with capabilities that not every carrier can match, ensuring top-level security at every touchpoint. In the air, it offers expedited routings and priority to more than 100 destinations, supported by a dedicated freighter fleet and passenger belly capacity. On the ground, shipments are safeguarded in strongrooms, with monitoring augmented by AI-enhanced CCTV surveillance at the Cathay Cargo Terminal – the first in Asia to receive IATA Security Management System (SeMS) certification.

With Cathay Secure, you can rest easy knowing your valuable and vulnerable shipments will be monitored and protected up until collection.

Gold standard vigilance
Cathay Secure follows strict security protocols for valuable shipments and vulnerable shipments. This includes CCTV surveillance in all Cathay Cargo handling areas across the globe.

In parallel, our dedicated team provides continuous monitoring of each high-value item throughout every stage of the shipment and offers escort services for valuable shipments during ramp transfers to and from the aircraft at origin and destination until they are loaded or secured safely.
Segregated storage
Cathay Secure ensures valuable cargo is handled within highly secured warehouse facilities with dedicated and access-controlled storage areas for maximum protection. Sealed containers are also available to provide extra security for shipments, as well as security bins for the air leg of the journey.
Priority space access
We ensure flown as booked with high priority, optimising our schedule for direct routes and shortest journey times.
Airside handover
Cathay Secure enables plane-side release directly to consignees at most stations for shipments declared as valuable cargo.
