On 18 May, a delegation from the State of Sinaloa, visited Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong. Known as “Mexico’s breadbasket” thanks to its agriculture, fisheries and livestock, Sinaloa is one of the 32 states of Mexico and is located in the northwest of the country.

The group of 23 included officials of the state government, representatives of the Mexican government based in Hong Kong, and CEOs of principal agricultural companies from Sinaloa.

The visit began with a tour of the Cathay Cargo Terminal, and in particular the facility’s comprehensive cold storage facilities. They also watched the skilled manoeuvring of an aircraft engine for shipment.
