Cathay Cargo celebrated the start of the Year of the Snake with its annual Kung Hei Fat Choy party held at the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers with customers and industry partners in early February.

Around 250 guests from Hong Kong’s freight forwarder community were joined by Cathay Cargo’s industry partners, including Hong Kong Airport Authority, the Hong Kong Shippers’ Council, IATA and HAFFA (Hong Kong Association of Freight Forwarding & Logistics Ltd).

The event started with a golden dragon and lion dance performance, which saw Cathay CEO Ronald Lam, Cathay Chief Customer and Commercial Officer Lavinia Lau, Director Cargo Tom Owen and General Manager Cargo Commercial James Evans participate in the traditional eye-dotting ceremony.
