Cathay Pacific Cargo and Dragonair Cargo are pleased to announce the successful commencement of our Stage 2 migration at Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal on 03 June 2013. The first phase of Stage 2 migration involved the transition of import and transhipment cargo on Dragonair operated flights at Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal.
The readiness of a smooth and successful transition was clearly examined by the management teams from Cathay Pacific Cargo, Dragonair Cargo, and Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal prior to the transition to ensure smooth operations and same high level of service standard is provided to our customers throughout the transitional period. In addition, a 24-hour contingency team from all aspects of the operation was in force to immediately address any complications or disruptions that might have arose.
In the following weeks, the terminal will begin to handle import and transhipment cargo from Cathay Pacific passenger flights, followed by Cathay Pacific freighters and Air Hong Kong freighters. Our dedicated teams across the different business units are working closely together around the clock to ensure the migration will be smooth and successful.
