Customers should already have the relevant export licenses or any other necessary documents complying with the applicable laws, customs and government regulations. For advice on documents required, customers can consult our cargo services counter at 4/F., Core SE, Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal, 3 Chun Wan Road, Hong Kong International Airport or call our customer services hotline at Tel: (852)2767-9888.
Customers should note that the chargeable weight of the shipment is based on the actual gross weight or the volume weight, whichever is higher, upon the acceptance of the shipment at Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal.
Customers should approach our cargo services counter to complete a letter of instruction form. Upon completion of the form, an Air Waybill will be issued. This AWB will be used as the reference point to your shipment for any subsequent enquiries and status check.
Information to Facilitate your Delivery of Goods to the Terminal
Goods will be accepted by our Cargo Terminal Operator - Cathay Pacific Services Limited who operates Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal.
There are three goods acceptance points where you can tender your shipments that are operating 24 hours a day and 7 days a week:
(A) Mini-shipment centre (CPCT)
The Mini-shipment Centre accepts small shipments consisting of three pieces or fewer, and less than 75 kilograms in total
(B) Bulk cargo acceptance points (CPCT)
The bulk cargo acceptance points accept all shipments exceeding the limitation for the Mini-shipment Centre
(C) Strong room (CPCT)
The strong room accepts valuable cargo only
Customers should proceed to CPCT by his / her own transportation. If you drive, go straight to the CPCT check booth for an admission card. Proceed to the ground / first floor of the acceptance points of CPCT and park temporarily.
Proceed to our cargo services counter at 4/F., Core SE, CPCT to get an AWB number and pick up cargo label(s). Please do not bring your shipment along at this stage.
If your shipment needs to be unloaded using a truck dock, you will have to approach the Truck Control Office (CPCT) for allocation.
Return to the acceptance point and hand over the goods to the warehouse staff. A reception checklist (RCL) will be issued to you. Under the requirements of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department, all shipments (with the exception of a few special items) tendered by an unknown consignor for carriage on passenger aircraft are subject to an x-ray security check. This screening service is available at the Mini-shipment centre upon acceptance. For more information, please contact our staff on (852)2767-9888.
Return again to our cargo services counter. An Air Waybill will be issued to you. Charges for the shipment will be calculated and collected. We accept cash and EPS, for full fare revenue shipments only).
